We call her "Big Yellow" due to her size and presence. Dakota has continually produced low birth weight kids that wean with high ADGs. As a first freshener in 2017, she kidded a single buckling with no assistance. In 2019, Dakota was artificially inseminated by WMB Mingo and we were able to collect 8 embryos from that cross, Three of the offspring from that flush still reside on our ranch: Amiga, Felicity and Big Iron (one of our main herdsires). In 2023, she had triplets. At eight years old, Dakota is still going strong and we prize this longevity.
