Marisal is a nice doe who has shown great hardiness and growth. The 2017 weaning group at the ranch survived Hurricane Harvey and 50+ inches of rain--- twice! "Jack Black" caught our eye when he was born and we felt he would become a good solid buck. I think we were right. He is the result of years of selection on the farm, with his sire being DHS Black Jack and his dam SEV Marisal. Marisal has been one of our top producing does for years, and has always produced solid bucks. Just like his parents, he is very easy tempered and a breeze to work with. This year he was one of the clean up bucks and got the job done while maintaining good body condition.

Side note-- black goats are incredibly hard to photograph!
