The Kidd came to the ranch in spring 2025 and we put him right to work! Unrelated to our herd, we enjoyed his kids. Unfortunately, the Kidd passed away in July 2026. We hope that he bred some of his does in June and will see in November. His pedigree is covered with top names, like Rizzo, Sonny Boy , Warsaw, Blues' Son and TNT Cody. He was bred by Addie Short at Short's LIvestock and has a good temperment. We will start taking deposits on kids in January.

Another great buck by Rizzo''s Kiko Kidd. He just weaned and we will have some data on him soon.
His dam comes from a long line of great dams on our farm.

Each daughter better than their mother and each kept for excellent reasons, including parasite resistance, the best maternals, great udders and easy keepers. Did I mention longevity? Marisal is nine and perhaps entering her last breeding season.
The Surfer Kidd was part of the buck cleanup crew this summer, so we expect some nice "Kidds in the early spring.
