The Kidd came to the ranch in spring 2025 and we put him right to work! Unrelated to our herd, we enjoyed his kids. Unfortunately, the Kidd passed away in July 2026. We hope that he bred some of his does in June and will see in November. His pedigree is covered with top names, like Rizzo, Sonny Boy , Warsaw, Blues' Son and TNT Cody. He was bred by Addie Short at Short's LIvestock and has a good temperment. We will start taking deposits on kids in January.

Annette is named for Annette Funicello.... the original beach girl in 1960s movies. Her dam's name literally means 'sea salt', so we stuck with a beach theme. She is a fantastic doe, just like her mother. She is bred to SFTX Big Iron for December delivery.... any promising buckling will be sent to a buck test.

This girl represents several generations of selective culling in our herd. Her great-grand dam, LOO Silver's Salty, produced some of our most parasite resistant does which are also long-lived. SEV Marisal is her grand dam and still here on the farm..... and was first dewormed at nine years of age!
Her dam, SFTX Annette, is a steady producer, low-key and thrifty. Looking foward to seeing this goat grow!
